1. Are there any fees or hidden costs associated with the program?
No, absolutely not. It is free to sign up, free to promote and free to use our standard promotional materials. You do not need to have a PartyPoker.com Account to be an Affiliate.
2. What are the different payment plans and how do they differ?
As an Affiliate, you can select how you get paid. We have two different plans:
Per sign up plan means you will get paid a guaranteed amount for every player that opens an Account and makes a real money deposit to his or her Account.
Gross revenue percentage share plan means you will get paid a commission on what the house makes from your players based on their contribution to monthly gross revenue for the life of their Account. In other words, the bigger your players, the bigger your check.
3. How is gross revenue calculated?
Gross revenue is calculated as the sum total of all players' contribution to all rakes the players were involved in while playing at PartyPoker.com, less any credits, bonus or promotional amounts given to players, charge backs or any uncollectible revenue attributable to the player. For more details, see the Affiliate Agreement.
4. When do I receive my money and what payment options do I have?
We make all Affiliate payments into your Affiliate Account by the fifth of every month. To receive a cash out, login with your Affiliate ID and password and request a cash out according to your choice. Cash out options include NeTeller, iGM-Pay, paper check by FedEx, and paper check by postal mail. You can also transfer funds from your Affiliate Account directly into your PartyPoker.com player Account.
5. How do I know how many players have signed up or how much money I am making?
Our state-of-the-art marketing system allows you to login anytime and check your statistics. You can run your reports tracker by tracker (or in summary) on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. See how your Sub-Affiliates are doing too! The reports are updated every day. To access your stats, go to Affiliate Login, login using your Affiliate ID and password, and click Check Stats.
6. How do I cash out my accruals?
We pay all your affiliate accruals into your Affiliate Account. You would then have to login to the Affiliate Cashier Page and request for a cash out using any of the cashout options.
7. What is a Tracking URL?
A tracking URL (or tracker) is a specific web address used for tracking online promotions. An example of a tracking URL looks like this: http://www.PartyPoker.com/index.htm?wm=1000000. You link your banners or text links through your own unique tracking URL. Since each tracking URL is unique, when a player enters PartyPoker.com through one of your tracking URLs, we credit that player to your Affiliate Account. When using a tracking URL, there is no need for the player to also enter a sign up bonus code because our system automatically knows it came from you.
8. What is a sign up bonus code?
A sign up bonus code is 3 to 12 digit code that you select in the system. You can have one code or many codes for different promotions. It can be numbers and/or letters and look something like "4Poker" or "WinNow123". Each code is unique and is assigned to a particular Affiliate; hence, when a player signs up using one of your sign up bonus codes, we know to credit you for that player. The bonus code is NOT case sensitive. For example, a bonus code such as ‘POKER’ is valid as "POKER" (upper case) or "poker" (lower case) or "Poker" (upper and lower case).
9. Do I need to offer players a bonus incentive to encourage them to sign up?
We strongly recommend that you use a special promotional offer in your marketing efforts to encourage players when signing up. This will significantly improve your conversion ratios (play money players who make a deposit and become real money players).
Each time you activate a sign up bonus code or tracking URL, you can select what type of bonus offer you want associated with it, or no bonus offer at all.
There are three types of bonus offers that you can choose from:
- 20% up to $100 bonus
- $25 bonus
- Free entry to the PartyPoker.com Million tournament
Please keep in mind that bonus amounts given to players are deducted in the calculation of gross revenue, and all bonus amounts are subject to release requirements that must be met before any player can play with or cash out the bonus amount so as to prevent abuse. These restrictions or requirements are contained in the offer itself and/or on a supplementary disclaimer page. See PartyPoker.com's standard promotional offer terms & conditions for more information on release requirements.
11. Where do players enter sign up bonus codes?
Players enter their sign up bonus code on the Open Account screen in the PartyPoker.com software, which is the screen where they first select their AccountName and password. Once entered, the system will automatically record the code to give the player the bonus amount, if any, when they make their first real money deposit to their Account. Please note that if you are promoting offline using a sign up bonus code and if players do not enter your code, they will not be tracked to you.
12. What is a deposit bonus code and how is it different from a sign up bonus code?
A sign up bonus code is to encourage players to sign up and make their initial deposit, whereas a deposit bonus code is to encourage existing real money players to make additional deposits. Unlike sign up bonus codes, the deposit bonus codes are entered on the deposit screen of the Cashier, not the Open Account screen. Generally deposit bonus codes are only used internally by PartyPoker.com to send to existing players to stimulate deposits and increase actions at the tables.
